Krista & Chris {Missouri Engagement Photographer}

I worked with Krista for about a year and went to school with her brother. When she asked me to be her wedding photographer, I was thrilled. So excited to be able to be part of their special day. These two met at a "Festivus" party that her brother was having one year and then met in Germany for their first date. How about that, a first date in another country! :) Here is a peek into their session for their engagement. Wedding to come in October.

Carter {Missouri Children's Photographer}

Carter is usually so so shy I can't even get him to look at me. This time, he was so talkative, I hardly could snap because he was talking and walking. :) He is the cutest thing and he was fascinated with the bugs we found while on our "walk" during our photoshoot. He will have a baby brother this fall, I think he will make a wonderful big brother! :)

A new life {Missouri Portrait Photographer}

Ashley was a winner of a free session contest I had on Facebook back in December. I had the honor of photgraphing her and her hubby yesterday to document their new addition, a little baby girl. And in about four weeks, I will get to meet that new addition and photograph her for them. We had perfect weather yesterday, finally, no rain and sunshine. Here is a peek into Ashley's maternity session.

Just the girls {Missouri family photographer}

I know I say it all the time but I truly do have the best clients ever, and the most photogenic. :) These girls are so much fun to photograph, such personalities....the oldest, Taylor, she had me giggling the whole time. She is a diva, and little miss was so cute. They found a "roly poly" and had fun with it....mom even held it while the girls were photographed. She is braver than me! Here is a peek into their session! Enjoy.

Deacon {Missouri Children's Photographer}

I had to reschedule this session three times due to weather. We finally got to do it on Tuesday evening. We had perfect weather, sunny and dry. It was a little humid, but we survived. The objective was just to capture Deacon playing, being a boy. I have to say that I am in love with this session. I had a really hard time choosing just a few to put on the blog. Here is a peek into my session from Tuesday evening!

Maddie {Missouri Children's Photographer}

Maddie takes riding lessons and obviously loves horses, so it was only fitting to do her #7 birthday shoot at the stables where she rides. I was so excited when her mom mentioned it to me. We had fun and it was a great diversion out of my norm. Here is a peek into her session!

Claire and Luke {Missouri Children's Photographer}

We hurried to get this session in on Friday evening and made it, as soon as I snapped my last shot because the wind was blowing like mad, one single rain drop landed on my camera. Thank goodness we were finished because not long after the sky opened up and it rained and rained (like we needed more rain) Claire was so funny, she usually takes a little bit to warm to me, but not on Friday, she came right to me and we started having fun. Her little brother Luke also didn't dissapoint with his grins. :)

Baby H {Missouri Children's Photographer}

I photographed Jack, baby H's big brother last fall. I was so excited when his mommy contacted me to do newborn photos for the new arrival and even more excited when she told me she didn't want posed. I loved photographing them just being a family and Jack on his mom and dad's bed being a "big brother". Little one didn't sleep for me, but that is ok, he was perfectly content, just not sleepy. Here is a peek into their session from last Tuesday.

My kiddos {Missouri Portrait Photographer}

"I would have given anything to keep them little. They outgrow us so much faster than we outgrow them. ~ Jodi Picoult

My son came home from "grammy's house" on Sunday, he is 5 and will start kindergarten next year. He came up to me and showed me his loose tooth. I felt as though I had been punched in the stomach. I know this may sound silly to some, but he is my baby, the last one and to lose that first baby tooth is such a right of passage. I mean, this is it. My children are growing before my eyes. I get so busy with work, with life, that I/we don't take the time to slow down and just enjoy our kids. So in that moment, I knew that I had to set some time aside this week to photograph my children, document his baby teeth while he still has them, document my twins, who will be 10 this June. Time slips away, don't let it, grab on and slow down....enjoy every minute for it is precious.
