Cutie Patooties! {Missouri Children's Photographer}

I have been photographing these two for a little over a year now, some of my favorite kiddos. This session was to document little brother's 1 year, but I also got some great shots of big sis. :) Here is a small peek into their session.

Becca, Senior Farmington High School {Missouri Senior Portrait Photographer}

Becca and I had a cold cold senior session last week, but you couldn't tell from the images. What a trooper she was, short sleeves and a skirt... and the wind was evil...but we pushed through. Here is a peek into her senior session.

Calling all seniors!!! {Missouri Senior Portrait Photographer}

I am feeling generous, so what better thing to do then to give away a fabulous senior session to one lucky senior for next spring. I'm going to open it up to Juniors AND Seniors....so if you are going to be a senior next school year and want to get a jump on your senior pics, and book with me before we move, then you need to read on!

All you need to do is go to my FB page, Emily Miller Photography, like my biz page if you haven't already (shame on you if you aren't already a fan ;) and then post a pic showing me your personality. I am looking for some fun, funky, outgoing seniors. I will then narrow down the entries to 5 lucky people, it will then be up to you all to get votes to win. You will need to share your pic and encourage people to come to my page to vote for your pic, you will get extra points if they like my biz page and vote for your pic. The prize?

Well...you will get a free senior session with me, up to two locations included, up to FIVE outfit changes if you wish (I usually only allow 3), and a $50 print credit off of a senior portrait collection. There will also be prizes for the runners up, so it's a win/win situation! All that enter will receive something. Spread the word....the more people that enter the more excited I get and maybe the more generous! Start posting your pics now, I will narrow down the entries on Monday so that gives you all weekend, then we will vote all next week and the winner will be announced on "black Friday" after Thanksgiving. Good Luck!

sweet little one {Missouri Baby Photographer}

When my friend told me she was expecting, I not only was thrilled because they were adding another blessing into their already beautiful family, but I was excited because I knew I would be able to photograph him/her! And finally I got to meet him last Sunday. He is such a cutie, makes me remember when mine were little, all of the things you swear you will not forget, but you do, because life gets crazy. Baby "C" didn't want much to do with laying down for pics, but I did get a lot of him and his big sister...hopefully at his 6 month session he will be sitting up and give me some smiles! ;)

Another Fabulous Family session {Missouri Family Photographer}

Another fabulous family session in downtown Farmington. I really love to find new little nooks around town to use, I especially love the old brick buildings that we all take for granted. We met on Friday, it was windy...and a bit chilly, but we got it done and I think they turned out pretty darn swell. :) Here is a preview! Remember, if you get at least 5 comments on your blog post within 24 hours of me posting it you will receive a free 8x10 with your paid print order! So share share share!

Fav. I love how I caught her not looking at me, because, let's face it, at this age, they love to look at you and say "cheese" which is fine, but I'm all about finding other looks, especially those that show their true personality.

Jessica, senior at Farmington High School, second session {Missouri Senior Photographer}

I had one session with Jessica already, an outdoor session...her mom also wanted a few indoor shots, which we did last weekend. So here is the rest of her senior session. I will be booking seniors for spring starting in January, so if you are one or know of one, send them my way or shoot me an email!

Some of my favorite people {Missouri Family Photographer}

Some of my absolutely favorite people...they are so much more than clients, we have become fast friends. I first photographed Krissi's Greta and then her sister Torri came to me...Missi then got pregnant and I now have the absolute honor of being the photographer for all three of these girls and their beautiful families. We always have SO much fun at sessions. These girls go on my list of clients that will truly truly be missed when we move. I have enjoyed watching their families grow and capturing moments for them.

I am so thankful that they are not "posey" people because at this session, there was very little posing. Too many kiddos running around, too many things to see and two little kittens to chase. :) Here is a peek into their session. I love you girls!

Beautiful fall family session {Missouri Family Photographer}

I photographed this beautiful little family last weekend. Andrea contacted me back in August to set up a fall session and we locked a date in place. The kids fell in LOVE with the little stray kittens that live here by my house, and they proved to be the perfect distraction. :)

New Life {Missouri Baby Photographer}

I photographed this little guy's big brother when he was just about this age. I'm so happy that I had the opportunity to capture his sweetness at this age as well. Such a good little one...made me have baby fever for a little bit. :)

Ian and family {Missouri Family Photographer}

I photographed this little one for the first time almost two years ago, his family bought a baby package....it ended last November, but they came back to me this year. I am always so pleased when I have repeat clients, this means that I am doing something right. :) The day we did this session had been windy and cloudy, but I think we did pretty well and Ian cooperated nicely. :) They are such a beautiful little family. Here is a peek into their session.

Ryder {Missouri Childrens Photographer}

I photographed Ryder last fall and it took me a long time to get him to warm up to me and let me take his photo. This year, no sweat. He was so good and sat for me, said "cheese" :) we had a great session. Here are some of my favorites from this little blue eyed cutie's session.

Beautiful family alert! {Missouri Family Photographer}

Oh this session, we worked so hard to schedule it and get it finished. We were first scheduled for early summer and it got SO hot, we rescheduled for fall, it rained, it was windy, if it wasn't one thing it was another...FINALLY last Saturday we had a perfect fall day. There was hardly a breeze, beautiful sunshine and decent temps. I know this family from the dance studio that my girls attend. They are beautiful inside and out. I enjoyed taking their photos and I hope they will treasure them for a long time. Enjoy!

fav. I had to put them back in this pose, but initially Christopher stayed this way until I put my camera up to snap. ;)

Policy Update

Just a little policy update; I usually email to confirm a few days ahead of your session, I try to do at least 2 days before...confirm time and meeting place. I don't always hear back from everyone until the night before, while I understand that not everyone checks their email as frequently as me, I must put this in place. From now on, if I have not had a definite email or text back regarding your session, by 5pm the day before your session, I will mark it off of my calendar and will consider it cancelled. This is purely because I usually have to have my day planned out and right now, I'm trying to double up on sessions to get you all in before the weather gets bad. Thanks for understanding and thank you all again for a great fall season!
